- Transportation–how do we help people get to jobs–collective brainpower to start talking about approaches to transportation that will involve employers and forming a broader policy conversation. JOTF has worked to move policies related to driver’s licenses suspensions (restricting this as a tool) forward, but have had challenges seeing the legislation passed–need to get more voices involved in the policy conversation. There is a whole spectrum of issues–from driver’s ed, to access to a vehicle (cost etc), poor public transportation and alternatives to car based transportation
- Policy 101 for workforce development organizations–aim for early summer timing
- Labor Brokers? Small companies (in the construction space) that sub contractors reach out to to get labor. The brokers then reach out to immigrant communities for the labor, but the people are paid below prevailing wage–working with immigrant workers

- Bon Secours Community Works: just wrapped up tax season, holding homeownership workshop tomorrow 4/20. Celebrating Earth Day in the community on Monday, holding a Swing Into Spring event on April 27th. Also recruiting 18-21 year olds to upcoming CNA/GNA training program
- St Agnes: Housing estate workshop, coming off of the legislative session
- Habitat for Humanity: currently hiring, preparing to celebrate 800th home settlement.Habicorps program in a moment of transition–trying to figure out if the program will continue past the next term–August 2024-August 2025
