Currently in the process of getting the vendors for the training programs together for the Train Up Program–Mark will find out how those vendors have been selected if they have been already

The ECC is making a significant push on social media to market resources. 1pm on Tuesday (last Tuesday of the month) they share employers they are working with and other services they offer.

Policy Advocacy

Workforce Committee of the SWP has decided as its focus for 2022 to focus on policy advocacy. Have selected two bills that they are focusing on–the Time2Care Act that expands Family Leave and the Maryland REDEEM Act of 2022. Lisa asked the Roundtable members how interested they are in doing any advocacy. Elizabeth will send the advocacy information to the workforce roundtable listserv.
