Executive Director’s Report (Donny)

Donny – each Staff member will present the area that they are working on.
Adrian – Commercial Development
1. Reviewed active/ ongoing projects. We are looking for more projects and partners.
2. Water pressure continues to be a major issue for completing projects. The City is aware and working to remedy.
Carrie – Housing
1. We are continuing to work on home ownership projects – Franklin Square and Pigtown
  1. 300 Blk Gilmor – 2 completed and sold
  2. 3 homes in Pigtown – we will soon release an RFP for the rehab.
  3. Remaining funding will be used to begin implementation of Housing Action Plan
2. Downpayment Assistance Program –
  1. Funds to serve 20 –
  2. We have given out 6 awards
3. The Housing Action Plan draft plan is complete and will come to the board for approval in May
Elizabeth – Public Spaces
1. All funding for spruce up grants and defensible spaces currently allocated – we will be reapplying – interested residents should prepare projects now.
2. The Packett fund still has some funding to assist schools.
