Baltimore Childcare Resource Center Project
The Baltimore Childcare Resource Center has received a grant to train community members to be home childcare providers. They will be targeting Franklin Square, Poppleton (and Harlem Park) as focus areas and will provide training in childcare as well as entrepreneurship and business management.
Joint Committee and Roundtable Meeting
There’s a lot of great workforce development programming going on in our community, and its hard to let people know about it. A good idea might be to combine meetings for one time to share what is going on. Aim for a July meeting at 5pm.
Our Baltimore Plan
Elizabeth shared about the Our Baltimore Plan and the SWP”s role in ongoing community engagement around the Plan. We have funding available to support outreach and engagement events around the plan.
