Please let Elizabeth know if there are projects that you are interested in seeing implemented–even though we don’t have funding know we can do the prep work to be ready to implement projects once funding is available
Committee discussed MDOT funding available for traffic calming and cycle lanes–Melanie will connect Elizabeth with her MDOT contact
2024 goals:
Tree plantings
–filling in the tree canopy in the 7 neighborhoods, making sure there is maintenance for the trees
Public art
–mural map and marketing of public art
–wrapping electrical boxes
–area wide public art strategy (look into maintenance needs)
–Franklin Square Comfort Station
Transportation
–bike lanes
–Southwest Sports and Fitness Alliance–bike rides to Camden Yards
–bike rodeo
