When you walk into New Beginnings Barbershop, you will immediately notice the art on the wall from local artists and the chatter of happy customers that frequently visit. You’ll probably also notice Troy Stanton. Stanton has been a Master Barber for more than 20 years in Baltimore City starting when he was a teenager. Stanton’s talent has brought an artistic form to the barber experience. He successfully runs his business with Rick Phaison and Caira Daniels, whom he has been working with since his days at Lenny’s House of Naturals.
New Beginnings Barbershop is deeply rooted in the community and, because of this dedication, they have teamed up with Kaiser Permanente to promote better health by providing FREE health screenings and immunizations now through February. Every Friday and Saturday from 9am to 3pm, you can receive a blood pressure check, receive a flu shot and get your blood drawn to test for cholesterol and diabetes. Kaiser Permanent representatives give great customer service and provide excellent information to those who have healthcare concerns or needs for themselves or their families.
