Part of the University of Maryland Medical Systems Division of Community Psychiatrity—everyone has to be in mental health treatment and have a priority diagnosis—bipolar disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder
Have an evidence based supportive employment program. 6 job coaches with a caseload of 20 individuals—primarily about job placement not necessarily about job training or job readiness. Can be referred just for the vocational program—have to be engaged in mental health treatment and be one of the priority populations. Provide bus passes to participants in the employment program for three months.
Located at Pratt and Carey St, have been there for 20 years.
Have a day program, serve breakfast and lunch, goal is to help people recover their lives—manage illness and learn life and social skills.
All participants have a rehab counselor who coordinates services and their main point of contact
Program is member driven

Harbor City is a trauma informed care agency, offer classes that are geared towards trauma recovery.
Provide basic groups for substance abuse issues, but primarily refer to other programs at UMMC. Groups are very member driven.
Harbor City doesn’t have mental health providers on site, programming is group settings or working with the rehab counselor
Young adult residential program on Hollins St—residential referral is a separate referral program

Lisa went to a training on promoting employment opportunities for former victims of trafficking. The group split up into three groups to discuss scenarios provided during the training.

Paul’s Place has broken ground for their new culinary training program. Programming will begin in January 2021.
St Agnes—lead recruiter is interested in doing a recruitment event
Kristine—will have 30-35 students next semester who will need 270 hours of paid employment or an internship
UMB has broken ground on new Community Engagement Center. Opening will be next summer, will have seven times as much space as currently, will have increased workforce programming
