Introductions

Approval of June Minutes—Troy made motion to approve and Catherine second

Subcommittee Updates

  • Facade 
    • Katz building close out – painting finishing up 
    • Tony will provide photos
  • W Baltimore
    • Focused on all neighborhoods for commercial committee fundraising committee—went through all the goals and discussed potential values ($160-500k for gap financing)
    • One added item was beautification and streetscaping
    • Sent out notes for review and will create document to fundraising committee explaining why and for what
    • Next: will go back to West Baltimore St focus, but have teams with tasks; next meeting may be august 9th pending confirmation

 

Project Updates

  • Littlepage’s Furniture Store – Bikkle Table announced intent to lease; 5 different eateries over the next 2.5 years, but starting with eatery, bakery, etc — timeline spring 2020
    • Q&A: 
      • Liquor license underway
      • Potential hours of operation 5pm-1am
      • Estimated employment – about 60 ppl
      • 1,200 sq ft
  • 1500 W Baltimore St
  • Lord Baltimore

 

New Business

  • Frieda: corks and cocktails – scrap bmore. Moving over from federal hill August 9th
  • Kim lanes update

Old Business

  • 1100 Wicomico hosting Baltimore innovation week — Oct 9th BIW19 and Technicaly ; 300-400 people, looking for lunch options
