Future of Workforce Committee
Committee discussed the previously discussed proposal to recombine the Workforce Committee with the Education Committee and maintain the Workforce Roundtable as a subcommittee of the re-combined committee. Committee discussed the new name of the committee, whether to combine with the commercial committee.
Bill moved to ask the SWP Board to dissolve the workforce committee as a separate committee, with the hope that the board will figure out a way to continue the work that has been done and with thanks to the people who have been involved. Dotie seconded. Bill, Dotie, Diana in favor, Laura voted no.
