Program Updates

Crossing Guards: Hiring event scheduled for April 17th at the Vintage Gardens community center 10am-12pm. Doing outreach to various senior centers and community groups, will send to churches, encourage committee members to share the event.

 

Franklin Square has a crossing guard at Stricker and Lombard, have another guard allocated but the position has gone unfilled. 

 

Youth Internship: Board meeting for BioPark March–will hear back soon after so will know before the next Committee meeting

 

School Family Council: Camille has been working to put together a list from the schools of when the School Family Council’s meet. Abigail will reach out to the principals and ask for this information as the chair of the committee–there are still some schools who have not yet responded.
