Elizabeth recapped current SWP workforce programming. There has been a growth in the number of workforce development organizations in the area which may mean that there is less of a need for us to provide workforce development services.
Committee doesn’t see a need for the SWP to provide direct workforce development programming–there is a need for more general resource navigation
Committee also discussed the role and purpose of the Workforce Committee and its relationship to the Workforce Roundtable and the Education Committee
