  •  Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes (Scott)
      1. No Quorum yet to vote – skip this for now.
  • Transitional Director Report (Kim)
      1. Tony hit the ground running – 
      2. Operating $50K
      3. Received SBGP grant for lighting and to support the Carroll park REc center.
      4. BRNI applications are due July 2nd
      5. Working on diversifying our funding base
      6. Greater Model Rec Center – Grand opening next month
      7. Released RFPs for Lord Baltimore and 1504/ 1506 to a more comprehensive list – due 5/30 – hope to find a development partner.
      8. Received permits for 1247 James St.
      9. Received the deed for 1302 Sargeant St
      10. Submitting a Writ of Mandamus for 1328 Sargeant St.
      11. Little Ms Butterfly is a new business moving onto Baltimore St
      12. Unity property will be the lead applicant for BVRI in Franklin Square with SWP being a subrecipient and supporting smaller developers.
      13. SWP will be lead applicant for BVRI in Hollins Market and Mt Clare.
        1. $14M application – 59 properties over 3 years.
  • Annual Meeting/ Town Hall – June 28 (Scott, Laura)
      1. Goals: Intro ED, Share priorities, Get feedback from community, and increase participation
      2. June 28 11AM – 2PM
        1. 30 minutes networking
        2. 30 minutes for presentation
        3. Lunch & open house
      3. Discuss some details of the event and marketing 
        1. Serena is exploring a kids zone – MICA student
        2. Have some home listings available
        3. Showcase our work
        4. Highlight the organization
        5. Ask BWB if they will be ready to showcase some homes on Sarah Street
        6. Lawn signs/ Banners – 
        7. Put posters in the businesses (probably reach more people than trying to distribute fliers to every home)
        8. Art teacher need a volunteer to assist.
        9. Have a map of the neighborhood
          1. Ask about assets – what do you think is great?

  • Governance Updates (Rebecca not here yet – Bill presented)
      1. Governance – looking to address the structural membership question in a holistic way & be able to recommend a durable structural solution.
        1. Sending a survey to board members to explore how the current structure supports and hinders SWP.
